Dear Diary:
I’m getting a bad cold!!! I’m also becoming a pill addict 2 vitamin C pills, apricur, vitamin (regular ones Pan Am Jets), 2 pills for acne & effisol!!! All 3 times a day (each meal except for Pan Am Jets). I stayed for Glee Club. I got a 88 on English test!! We went to the movies to see “Knower” I think thats the name. About an old man. Missy went too. I think Clyde sat by me. I was very embarressed. Talked to Anja. I hope I get a good grade on Math tomorrow.
BYE!!!!
Note: My grandfather Dr. Geza Fisch was a well-loved physician in Quito, Ecuador, and growing up my Dad often made house calls with him. My Dad planned to follow in his footsteps; he started medical school until they brought out the cadavers and that was it for him. He told me couldn't eat meat for a year.
Dad was a firm believer in Vitamin C and gave us Efisol lozenges which contained Vitamin C and an antibacterial.

Missy’s Dad retired from the Tabacalera Nicaraquense (Tobacco Company) and moved his family to Kentucky mid-school year. It was a difficult time for both Missy and myself. We were very blessed and managed to keep our friendship alive during many moves and circumstances.
I mention Simone Metz a lot and wish I had been able to stay in contact with her. Last I knew her family had moved to Maracaibo, Venezuela. She was a classmate and friend who lived in my neighborhood of Los Robles. I believe she was from the Netherlands.

How wonderful! I love reading how your dad went with your grandfather! i Completely understand why your dad avoided meat when the cadavers were wheels out!!
Enjoyed reading as always !
So special that Missy went to Wesley's wedding! Almost 1 yr anniversary for them! When I read the post about all the tests I thought the next day would be a Friday - hadn't paid attention to the date ! Will there be more posts about Clyde? 😉
What a wonderful picture of you from Wesley’s wedding ; and I love the photograph of young Henri.
He was a handsome and mischievous looking boy, wasn’t he? Maybe your blog will find its way to your Dutch friend and she will get in touch.
from your extra sister
I love that you were able to get together with Missy after so many years!
